United Painting of Long Island has been painting houses, new construction and commercial space across Long Island — Nassau County and Suffolk County — since 1997, and also works in New York City and Westchester County — fully insured, and working with our own crews.
One contractor, both counties
Long Island means Nassau County and Suffolk County, and we work the whole of it: Nassau's villages, Suffolk's North and South Shores, and Suffolk's East End including the Hamptons. We also take work in New York City and Westchester County. That range matters because the same house painted in Garden City and in Amagansett needs two different exterior specifications — inland weathering is nothing like ocean-facing salt and sun exposure.
What Long Island does to a paint job
Humid summers, salt air, hard freeze-thaw winters and a lot of cedar. Locally, coatings fail at joints, at bare wood and wherever the last painter skipped washing and caulking. So we wash, scrape, treat, re-caulk and prime by substrate before anything gets a finish coat — that sequence is the difference between a repaint that holds and one you do again in three years.
