New construction
New Construction Painting
Builders do not need a painter with opinions about color. They need a painter who shows up with the right crew size, keeps the schedule and does not hold up the next trade.
Holding the schedule
New construction has been core to our work since 1997. We staff to the phase, coordinate around trim carpentry, tile, flooring and cabinetry, and adjust crew size when the schedule moves — because it always moves. Prime and finish sequencing is planned so that nothing we coat gets damaged by work that follows.
- Phased scheduling and crew coordination by trade
- Prime, first-coat and finish sequencing around other trades
- Punch list turnaround before closing or the certificate of occupancy
Working from the specification
On architect- and designer-led builds we work to the spec: named products, named sheens, mock-ups approved before production, and mock-up panels kept on site for reference. When something in the spec will not perform on the substrate as built, we flag it before it is sprayed, not after.
Millwork, trim and specialty finishes
Crown, casing, base, coffered ceilings, paneling, built-ins and stair parts are finished to a level appropriate to the house — including sprayed enamels, high-gloss systems, Venetian plaster and lime wash when the drawings call for them.
Where we have worked
New Construction has been completed across Long Island — Nassau County and Suffolk County, including the Hamptons and the East End — plus New York City and Westchester County.
Questions
Frequently asked
- Do you work directly for general contractors and builders?
- Yes — general contractors, builders, designers and architects make up a large share of our work, alongside homeowners.
- Can you handle multiple houses or phases at once?
- Yes. Crew size is planned per phase, and we scale up or down as the construction schedule shifts.
- Do you provide mock-ups?
- Yes — sample and mock-up panels are standard on specification-driven projects so the finish is approved before production.
